Hand made and crafted from exceptionally rare olive wood, these serving bowls are eye catching kitchen pieces with the intention to accentuate both modern and classic kitchens. Featuring Mediterranean olive wood that is stunning in appearance, the burled grain and beautiful patterns are exceptionally unique even for olive.
Each bowl is turned from a single block of olive by hand, from trained craftsmen. Because of this, every bowl is completely one of a kind and showcases the living character of a timeless tree that once provided a bounty of olive fruit. Perfect for serving olives, fruits or other small appetizers, these bowls create a rustic and warm environment for your kitchen and events.
A Word from Thirteen Chefs: Olive wood that takes decades to grow and cultivate and has been cultivated in the Mediterranean regions for millenia. The dry and arid air, together with slow growth of olive trees helps to create the stunning patterns, but is also the reason that olive wood naturally has many checks and cracks. For this reason it isn’t feasible to harvest olive bowls that are free from checking or small cracks, especially the larger the bowl. If you choose to purchase one of our bowls, we ask that you please be understanding of this fact in advance, so you aren’t disappointed or feel misled. Thank you for listening!
